  • Do not indulge in any sort of drugs in Japan or your Japan vacation will turn into jail time. Even if it is recreational drugs and even if they are legal in your home country. You are not allowed to carry drugs into the country when you visit Japan nor are you allowed to indulge in drugs on Japan travel.
  • Whether you are drunk or not, do not get into a fight. If someone is being hostile towards you, look for an authority figure nearby and walk away. Even if you are not the instigating party, you will be charged by the police for being involved in a fight. And if you are drunk, then god help you on Japan tourism.
