How to Reach Gegharkunik, Armenia?

By Air

The nearest airport for Gegharkunik travel is the Zvartnots International Airport in Yerevan. There is not airport in the Gegharkunik province, so if you want to go for Gegharkunik sightseeing, you will have to do so from Yerevan.

By Road

Gegharkunik touches international border with Azerbaijan, and there are roadways leading to & fro. But the borders are closed. So if you wish for Gegharkunik travel, you will have to do so from within Armenia or you can be her by road from Georgia. The roads taking you for Gegharkunik sightseeing are not in optimum condition. There are bumps, holes, and fractures in the road. So your ride to places to visit in Gegharkunik might not be very pleasant.

By Water
