You won’t find any difficulty using public transport directly from the airport or from the city of Vienna. You can also avail the services of the public train network for Gussing sightseeing.

By Road

There are several train stations you can choose to visit the Gussing district. But, as the tourist attractions in Gussing are scattered among different towns and municipalities, you would be rocking between trains and buses for sightseeing. There is an easier alternative of course. You can hire a car with a driver or rent a car to drive yourself, given that you are cleared to drive in Austria. This option is a little more expensive as compared to using public transport to hop between towns for things to see in Gussing. It gives the added advantage of independence and convenience. You can do this from Vienna as well from any town in Gussing as well. The easiest and relatively cheaper alternative is to reach the capital town of Gussing by train. You can enjoy all the Gussing attractions in the town in half a day. Then you can hire or rent a car to visit other places for sightseeing in Gussing. If you plan on carrying out the entire trip by road, you will need to follow route 57 & 56. The Gussing town stands at the intersection of these two routes.

By Water

Being a landlocked district Gussing lacks a direct water route. And as Austria shares the same predicament, there are no water routes for Gussing travel as of now. There used to be one when the region was submerged in water at the time of the great flood and it might happen again that you could enjoy cruise ship rides among things to do in Gussing when the water levels rise to submerge this beautiful town. Until that happens, there isn’t much Gussing can offer for transportation by water.
