How to Reach Pärnu?

By Air

The city has its own airport named Pärnu airport, but it doesn’t receive many flights. The closest airport for Pärnu travel is the Tallinn Airport and Riga International Airport at a distance of 112 kms and 168 kms respectively. You can get public transport  from each of the cities with these airports. You can also get train and bus transport to visit Pärnu from each of these cities.

By Road

You can get a direct train to visit Pärnu from Tallinn. The runs runs two times in a day between the cities and takes 2.5 hours for Pärnu travel or vice versa. You can also choose bus to reach the places to visit in Pärnu from Tallinn, Riga, Tartu and Haapsalu. You can also reach Pärnu by road from each of these cities.

By Water

You can reach Pärnu by taking a ferry from Ruhnu or Kihnu. These are islands in the Baltic Sea. Other than these, there aren’t any water routes for Pärnu travel.
